ESBU in the Vinnytsia region simultaneously shut down 15 points of sale for e-cigarette liquids. The value of the seized items is over UAH 5 million

 Detectives of the Territorial Office of the ESBU in the Vinnytsia region seized a batch of illegally manufactured e-cigarette liquids directly at their points of sale.

During 15 searches conducted at the sales locations, more than 35,000 containers with flavourings, nicotine, and glycerin were confiscated, along with almost 10,000 pod systems and cartridges, mobile phones, laptops, system units, draft records, and cash totaling over UAH 300,000.

The estimated value of the seized items is over UAH 5 million.

The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings is being conducted on the grounds of a criminal offense stipulated by Part 1 of Article. 199 and Part 1 of Art. 204 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal storage, sale, or transportation for the purpose of selling illegally manufactured excisable goods with counterfeit excise tax stamps).

Operational support is provided by employees of the 24th border detachment named after the Hero of Ukraine Senior Lieutenant Vyacheslav Semenov. Procedural guidance is carried out by the Vinnytsia Regional Prosecutor's Office.
