Detectives of the Territorial Office of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine in the Poltava region have shut down the operations of two illegal gas stations in the Kharkiv region. One of them has been fully dismantled.
The investigation established that the gas stations operated without the necessary permits. Specifically, they lacked licenses for the retail sale of fuel, quality certificates, and documents confirming the origin of the fuel.

As part of the pre-trial investigation, detectives conducted authorized searches. They seized gasoline and diesel fuel, LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) tanks, fuel storage containers, as well as fuel dispensers and their components.
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing regarding the illegal manufacture, storage, and sale of excisable goods. A motion has been submitted to the court to place an arrest on the seized property.

The searches were conducted with the participation of specialists from the Main Directorate of the State Tax Service in the Kharkiv region. Procedural guidance is provided by the Poltava Regional Prosecutor's Office.
The Territorial Office of the ESBU in the Poltava region continues its systemic efforts to combat the illegal turnover of excisable goods and works toward the de-shadowing of the fuel market.
