The employees of the Territorial Department of the ESBU in Kyiv handed over the first batch of confiscated property to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

These are computers, routers, power supplies, video cameras, video recorders, various devices and equipment, as well as furniture seized during searches of illegal casinos. Their estimated value is more than UAH 5 million.

In accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On transfer, forcible alienation or seizure of property in the conditions of a legal regime of martial law or a state of emergency" by order of the commander of the military unit approved by the state administration the property seized by detectives was forcibly alienated and transferred to the Military Unit A7048 as well as the 120th a separate territorial defense brigade.

The part of the property confiscated from illegal casinos has been handed over to the Shevchenkivskyi and Sviatoshynskyi district TCCs in the city of Kyiv for safekeeping.

The pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings is carried out by detectives of the Territorial Department of the ESBU in Kyiv under the procedural guidance of prosecutors of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office.

It will be recalled that since the beginning of 2023, detectives of the Territorial Department of the ESBU in Kyiv have conducted more than 300 searches at the addresses of gambling halls and casinos and seized more than 6,000 pieces of computer equipment.
