For the illegal production and sale of fuel in Odesa region, a court found a man guilty and imposed a fine, with part of the seized property to be transferred for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Previously, detectives established that the man, without being registered as an entrepreneur, purchased illegally produced fuel of unknown origin throughout 2024 at prices significantly below market rates. Subsequently, without the necessary permits, he sold the gasoline and diesel fuel through illegally set up refueling stations on the territory of Biliaivka and Teplodar.

The suspect involved his friend in the unlawful activity. This allowed them to increase the sales volume of fuel and lubricants.
During more than 20 authorized searches, ESBU detectives seized 65.7 tons of gasoline and diesel fuel, 31 containers, fuel dispensers, and a mobile refueling station mounted on a vehicle. The total value of the seized property amounted to over UAH 13.5 million.

The court found the man guilty and sentenced him to a fine. In addition, by court decision, part of the seized property, namely fuel and lubricants with a total value of 762.5 thousand UAH, was transferred for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Materials regarding the other participant in the illegal activity are being considered by the court separately.
