The Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine is strengthening its engagement with the academic community and launching systemic cooperation with the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine. The Memorandum of Cooperation was signed by ESBU Director Oleksandr Tsyvinskyi and President of the NALSU Volodymyr Zhuravel.
The cooperation between the ESBU and the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine aims to conduct joint research, as well as prepare proposals to improve economic security legislation and align it with European standards.
Within the framework of the partnership, the parties will work on preparing recommendations for draft laws and other regulatory acts, conduct legal research, and involve scientists and scholars in expert work and participation in joint working groups.
Furthermore, the ESBU and the NALSU will implement joint projects, hold conferences, seminars, and other professional events, and facilitate professional development and training for ESBU employees.
The partnership is intended to reinforce the scientific and legal support for the Bureau's activities, contribute to the improvement of economic security legislation, and foster the implementation of modern approaches to countering economic offenses.
