Detectives of the Territorial Office of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine in the Kyiv region have referred to court an indictment against an entrepreneur who organized the operation of an illegal gas station in the city of Bila Tserkva.
The investigation established that the gas station functioned with gross violations of legislative requirements. Specifically, the station lacked licenses for the retail sale of fuel, quality certificates, and documents confirming the origin of the fuel.
During the searches, ESBU detectives seized two fuel storage tanks, two fuel-dispensing complexes, a module for storing and selling gas, over 6,500 liters of diesel fuel, and nearly 6,000 liters of A-95 gasoline. Additionally, financial and business documentation, computer equipment, and "shadow" records were seized.
The individual was notified of suspicion under Part 1 of Article 204 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal manufacture, storage, sale, or transportation for the purpose of sale of excisable goods). The indictment has been sent to court.
Procedural guidance in the criminal proceedings is provided by prosecutors of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.
