The Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine, together with the State Labor Service of Ukraine, is intensifying its efforts to combat unofficial employment, "envelope wages," as well as evasion of taxes and the unified social contribution.
This is one of the key areas of the Memorandum of Cooperation and Information Exchange signed by the Director of the ESBU, Oleksandr Tsyvinskyi, and the Head of the State Labor Service, Ihor Dehnera.

The document defines joint approaches to countering violations of labor and tax legislation. Specifically, it involves the exchange of information regarding enterprises whose activities may show signs of violations.
The parties also plan to jointly analyze risks to economic security, conduct preventive and educational outreach among businesses and employees, and draft legislative proposals to prevent future violations.
All measures will be implemented at both the central office level and through territorial branches.
The signing of the memorandum is another step toward bringing the labor market out of the shadows, increasing tax and mandatory contribution compliance, and establishing transparent and clear rules for businesses and employees.
