The possibilities of exchanging analytical information on the effectiveness of state property management were discussed during a meeting between the heads of the Territorial Departments of the Economic Security Bureau in Zakarpattia and Lviv regions and the head of the regional office of the State property fund of Ukraine in Lviv, Zakarpattia and Volyn regions.
The participants of the meeting signed a Memorandum of cooperation which also provides for the exchange of information on the repayment of debts to the state budget and payment of taxes by business entities. The document provides for proposals for amendments to regulatory acts to eliminate the prerequisites for creating schemes of illegal activity in the economy. The parties agreed to jointly prepare analytical conclusions and recommendations for local governments.
"Advisory, analytical and legal support checking existing or new contractors for ties with companies and individuals from russia are joint actions aimed at creating a safe economic environment in the region," explained Valeriy Tatsienko, acting head of the Territorial Department ESBU in Lviv region. He also emphasized that analytical assessment and risk study should become one of the tools to support business. Today it is the ESBU's analytical units that process and systematize data from various information systems and this activity will be expanded in the future.
Yevhen Kalugin, head of the Territorial Department Economic Security Bureau in Zakarpattia region noted that due to the war, businesses are relocating to the western regions of Ukraine. At this stage it is important not to impede business development, retain taxpayers and create jobs. The Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine is working to ensure a transparent and competitive economic environment.
"Ukrainian business, working in difficult conditions, constantly helps the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Our task is to create comfortable and safe conditions for economic development and eliminate any prerequisites for illegal activities," emphasized Mykola Ishchuk.
