A resident of the Berezivka district, who illegally sold tobacco products through social networks for four years, was found guilty. The court imposed a fine on her with confiscation and destruction of the illegal products.
Detectives of the Territorial Office of the ESBU in the Odesa region established that the 38-year-old suspect organized a dropshipping scheme for illegally manufactured cigarettes. She looked for clients through specially created Telegram channels and actually acted as an intermediary between the manufacturer and the buyers.
The suspect published the assortment of tobacco products, accepted orders, and passed them to the supplier. Buyers transferred money to the bank card of the suspect. She transferred the received funds to the manufacturer, keeping a certain percentage of the sales for herself.

After payment, the illegally manufactured cigarettes were sent to the customers by mail across the entire territory of Ukraine.
Based on the results of the judicial review, the woman was found guilty of committing criminal offenses provided for by Part 2 of Article 28 and Part 1 of Article 204 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. She was sentenced to a punishment in the form of a fine with the confiscation and destruction of the illegally manufactured excisable goods.
The indictment regarding the manufacturer of the illegal cigarettes has also been sent to court.
Procedural guidance was carried out by prosecutors of the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office.
