A man who organized the operation of an illegal gas station and sold diesel fuel of doubtful origin without a license or permissive documents will stand trial in Dnipro. The illegal gas station has already been dismantled.
Detectives of the Territorial Office of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine in the Poltava region established that the suspect rented a site for fuel storage, equipped it as a gas station, and organized the sale of diesel fuel.

During the investigative actions, about 1,300 liters of diesel fuel, two storage containers, fuel dispensing units, as well as cash obtained from illegal activity were seized. Based on the results of the measures taken, the illegal gas station has been dismantled.
The pretrial investigation has been completed. The indictment regarding the organizer of the illegal gas station has been sent to the court.
His actions are qualified under Part 1 of Article 204 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal acquisition, storage, and sale of illegally manufactured excisable goods).
Procedural guidance in the criminal proceedings is carried out by the Poltava Regional Prosecutor's Office.
According to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in accordance with the law and established by a court verdict.
