Detectives of the Territorial Office of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine in the Poltava region have exposed and shut down two illegal gas stations in the city of Dnipro. Following the investigative actions, both stations have been dismantled.
The investigation established that the stations operated without any permits and sold fuel of questionable origin.

The suspects purchased illicitly manufactured diesel fuel and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). This fuel was subsequently sold to consumers without retail licenses, quality certificates, or documents confirming the origin of the products.
As part of the pre-trial investigation, authorized searches were conducted. During these investigative actions, detectives seized diesel fuel, LPG tanks, storage containers, and fuel dispensers. Cash obtained from the illegal activities was also confiscated.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted under Part 1 of Article 204 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Procedural oversight of the criminal proceedings is carried out by the Poltava Regional Prosecutor's Office.

In total, over the past month, detectives from the ESBU Territorial Office in the Poltava region have shut down and dismantled approximately ten illegal gas stations across the Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Poltava regions.
