Oleksandr Tsyvinskyi, Director of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine, and his First Deputy, Taras Shcherbai, held an online meeting with representatives of the International Anti-Corruption Academy, specifically with its head, Drago Kos. The meeting focused on building an effective anti-corruption compliance system, developing management potential, and training ESBU employees.
“Currently, the ESBU is undergoing a transformation phase. This involves employee recertification and a large-scale team update. We plan to recruit about 2,800 new specialists. Therefore, implementing clear anti-corruption rules, improving personnel management, and developing human capital are top priorities for us," noted Oleksandr Tsyvinskyi.

The parties agreed to focus on practical cooperation. In particular, this includes training employees after recertification and involving academy experts in the training of the Bureau's personnel.
Specifically, they discussed three key areas of staff training in detail: cryptoanalysis, professional training, and integrity. In addition, the partners expressed their readiness to support the creation of the ESBU Unified Information System, which will allow for efficient work with large volumes of data.
The Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine expresses its gratitude to international partners for their support and readiness to participate in the transformation and development of the Bureau's institutional capacity.
