Attestation continues: the second stage of staff evaluation has commenced at the ESBU

 The second stage of the one-time employee attestation has commenced at the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine. Division heads, detectives, analysts, civil servants, employees of operational-technical units, and contract staff will undergo the professional competence evaluation.

Passing scores for the tests have already been approved for the participants, and the results will determine their admission to the next stage of the attestation.

The first stage consists of testing knowledge of Ukrainian legislation. Employees who successfully pass this test are admitted to the general abilities testing, which includes an assessment of verbal, abstract-logical, and mathematical skills.

Only candidates who score the established passing marks will proceed to the next stage—the interview.

The attestation is conducted in accordance with the Procedure for Organizing and Conducting the Attestation of ESBU Employees, as well as the criteria and methodology for evaluating integrity and professional competence, approved by ESBU Order No. 274 dated December 30, 2025 (as amended), and registered with the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on January 26, 2026, under No. 114/45508.

The attestation process must be concluded no later than 18 months from the date of Oleksandr Tsyvinskyi's appointment as Director of the Bureau—specifically, in February 2027.
