An Odesa court found a 31-year-old resident of the city of Vylkove guilty. He re-registered a company under his name. Its details were subsequently used to reduce tax liabilities and convert non-cash funds into cash.
Detectives of the TO of the ESBU in the Odesa region established that the enterprise was originally registered in Kyiv. The company specialized in the wholesale trade of fuel and gaseous products. Subsequently, it changed its location, owners, and managers several times.
At the end of 2023, the suspect agreed to become the founder and director of the enterprise for a monthly reward of 300 US dollars. At the same time, he did not actually plan to conduct business activities or manage the company.
The man provided his personal data for the processing of registration documents and signed documents containing knowingly false information. On this basis, changes were made to the Unified State Register at the beginning of 2024. According to them, the suspect became the founder and director of the enterprise.

At the same time, he did not actually manage the enterprise: he did not conduct financial and economic activities, did not conclude contracts with counterparties, did not manage bank accounts, did not keep accounting records, did not submit tax reporting, and did not process customs documents.
All documents regarding the actual activity of the enterprise were drawn up and signed by other persons. Materials regarding their actions are being investigated in separate criminal proceedings.
During the investigation, ESBU detectives established that the enterprise was used to reduce tax liabilities. Non-cash funds were also converted into cash through the fuel company for enterprises of the real sector of the economy.
The suspect was found guilty of submitting false data for the state registration of an enterprise. He acted in prior conspiracy with other persons. His actions have been qualified under Part 2 of Article 205-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The man was sentenced to a fine. Also, for one year, he will not be able to hold managerial and administrative positions at enterprises, institutions, and organizations.
Procedural guidance was carried out by prosecutors of the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office.
