Main tasks:
1) ensuring the operations of the Territorial Office of the ESBU in the Zakarpattia region (hereinafter referred to as the Territorial Office) in the fields of information technology, innovation, cryptography, information protection, and cybersecurity;
2) conducting analytical assessments of the implementation of tasks in information technology, innovation, cryptography, information protection, and cyber-protection of information within the Territorial Office;
3) carrying out activities in the field of information and communication technologies, organizing communication, implementing and utilizing modern information (automated), communication, and information-communication systems (hereinafter referred to as ICS) and IT, as well as organizing the technical operation of communication facilities and computing equipment in the Territorial Office and its structural units;
4) ensuring the implementation and effective functioning of the information and computing facilities complex, communication technologies, and communication facilities within the Territorial Office.
Main functions:
1) implements and provides technical support for: automated systems (hereinafter — AS), information, communication, and information-communication systems and technologies;
2) ensures, within the powers provided by law, the cryptographic protection of information owned by the ESBU or restricted information for which protection is mandated by law;
3) develops and maintains the Comprehensive Information Protection System (hereinafter — CIPS) within the automated systems and information-communication systems;
4) organizes the compliance of personnel and users of automated systems with the requirements of regulatory acts, standards, and administrative documents concerning information technology and information protection within the Territorial Office's automated systems;
5) organizes, on behalf of the Territorial Office leadership, inspections in the field of information technology and monitors the implementation of protection requirements for restricted information within the structural units of the Territorial Office;
6) creates and maintains interdepartmental information and analytical systems necessary for the performance of the tasks assigned to the Territorial Office;
7) investigates information processing technology within the Territorial Office's automated systems and information-communication systems to identify potential channels for information leakage and other security threats, formulates threat models, develops information security policies, and determines measures aimed at their implementation;
6) maintains the necessary level of information, resource, and technology security within the Territorial Office;
9) organizes the implementation and support of the functioning of the anti-virus protection system for automated systems, implementing organizational and technical measures to ensure the protection of automated systems from computer virus attacks;
10) ensures the installation, configuration, removal, and inventory of software (computer programs) within the Territorial Office.
11) ensures cybersecurity within the Information and Communication Systems (ICS) of the Territorial Office;
12) ensures the creation of the technical and server infrastructure of the Territorial Office with appropriate protection.
