Main tasks:
1) ensuring the activities of the Territorial Office in the field of information technology, innovation, cryptography, information security, and cybersecurity;
2) carrying out activities in the field of information and communication technologies, organizing communication, implementing and utilizing modern information (automated), communication, and information-communication systems (hereinafter – ICS), information technology, organizing the technical operation of communication equipment and computer hardware within the Territorial Office and its structural units;
3) organizing the creation, implementation, and administration of the Territorial Office's local network and server infrastructure with appropriate protection;
4) creation and maintenance of comprehensive information protection systems (hereinafter – CIPS) within automated systems (AS) and ICS;
5) researching information processing technology within the AS and ICS of the Territorial Office to identify potential leakage channels and other threats to information security, forming a threat model, developing an information security policy, and defining measures aimed at its implementation;
6) coordination of work related to the technical protection of information, the necessity of which is determined by the current legislation of Ukraine;
7) ensuring the fulfillment of tasks related to state secrets within its powers and maintaining a secrecy regime in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine.
Main functions:
1) organizes work for the creation and maintenance of information technology systems and technical support of ICS within the Territorial Office;
2) ensures technical support and operational capability of computer equipment and computer systems used in the AS of the Territorial Office and the Territorial Office's local network, access to Internet resources, and the functioning of e-mail;
3) organizes the technical and software maintenance for the construction and operation of software and hardware complexes of the AS and ICS, and their modernization within the competence of the Sector;
4) creates and coordinates work regarding the functioning of interdepartmental information and analytical systems necessary for the fulfillment of tasks assigned to the Territorial Office, specifically concerning technical information protection and cybersecurity;
5) ensures measures for anti-virus protection and cybersecurity of information within the information and communication systems of the Territorial Office;
6) exercises control over the functioning of ICS anti-virus protection systems, implementing organizational and technical measures to ensure the protection of ICS from computer virus infection;
7) organizes and controls the work related to the administration of the information and communication network, telephony system, and other systems in accordance with the competence of the Sector, the effective functioning of computer hardware and communication equipment, and the use of information technologies within the Territorial Office and its structural units;
8) ensures the informatization and digitalization of information exchange processes and innovative solutions within its activities during interaction with state authorities, local self-government bodies, other authorities, enterprises, institutions, and organizations, banks, and other financial institutions in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine;
9) ensures the Territorial Office automated access to automated information and reference systems, registers, and data banks (bases) held (administered) by state bodies or local self-government bodies, state, including governmental, communication means and communications, special communication networks, and other technical means in the manner determined by the current legislation of Ukraine;
10) carries out the creation of own systems (networks) for the exchange of restricted access information, databases necessary to ensure the daily activities of the Territorial Office's units in the sphere of labor, financial, managerial relations, document flow, etc.;
11) coordinates work regarding the analytical assessment of the current state of cybersecurity within ICS and participates in eliminating threats of information leakage using CIPS tools within the ICS if an attack is detected.
