Detectives of the Territorial Office of the ESBU in the Kyiv region, together with detectives of the main division of the ESBU of Ukraine, ensured compensation of more than 10 million UAH of losses caused to the state budget by an enterprise specializing in the trade of agricultural products.
The investigation established that during 2023–2024, the director of the enterprise sold sunflower oil in a total volume of more than 1.8 thousand tons. As a result of such transactions, he received income for more than 46 million UAH, which he did not reflect in the tax declaration on property status and income for 2024.
As a result, the state budget lost more than UAH 10.6 million in personal income tax and military tax, which qualifies as tax evasion on an especially large scale.
A pre-trial investigation was launched based on an analytical report prepared by specialists of the ESBU. The amount of damage caused to the state was confirmed by the conclusion of a forensic economic examination.
The head of the enterprise was notified of suspicion of intentional tax evasion on an especially large scale under Part 3 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (intentional tax evasion on an especially large scale).
During the pre-trial investigation, the detectives of the ESBU ensured full compensation for the losses caused to the state - the funds have already been transferred to the state budget.
The criminal proceedings have been referred to court.
The procedural management is carried out by prosecutors of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.
