Main tasks:
Development, organization, and oversight of measures to prevent corruption offenses and corruption-related offenses.
Main functions:
1) providing methodological and advisory assistance on matters of compliance with anti-corruption legislation;
2) exercising control over compliance with anti-corruption legislation, including the review of reports regarding violations of the requirements of this Law;
3) maintaining records of reporting subjects, verifying the fact of declaration submission by such subjects, and notifying the National Agency of cases involving the non-submission or late submission of such declarations in the manner prescribed by this Law;
4) implementing measures to detect conflicts of interest, facilitating their resolution, and informing the head of the relevant body and the National Agency regarding the detection of a conflict of interest and the measures taken for its resolution;
5) organizes the conduct of background checks (special checks) regarding persons applying for positions that involve responsible or highly responsible status, as well as positions with an increased risk of corruption;
6) ensures the protection of employees who have reported violations of the requirements of this Law from negative measures of influence by a manager or employer, in accordance with whistleblower protection legislation;
7) informs the head of the relevant body, the National Agency, or other specially authorized entities in the field of anti-corruption about facts of legislative violations in the field of prevention and counteraction of corruption.
