The detectives of the Territorial Office of the ESBU in the Kyiv region completed a pre-trial investigation against a resident of the Kyiv region for the fact of trading in illegally manufactured tobacco products. So far, the court has issued a guilty verdict against him.

The man organized the delivery of illegally manufactured tobacco products without excise tax stamps to the territory of the Kyiv region. He sold counterfeit products through retail outlets in the Kyiv region, in particular in Obukhov and Bila Tserkva.

According to the results of searches of places of storage and sale, electronic devices and cigarettes worth almost UAH 7 million were seized from illegal circulation.

The person involved in the criminal proceedings was notified of the suspicion of committing a criminal offense, provided for in Part 1 of Art. 204 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The indictment was sent to the court.

His guilt in the committed crime has been fully proven. The court issued a verdict - a fine in the amount of six thousand five hundred tax-free minimum incomes of citizens with confiscation and destruction of illegally manufactured goods.
