• detection of russian and belarusian assets and agents of influence, counteraction, and prevention of all types of economic crimes in Volyn;

• identifying risks and threats to the economic security of the Volyn region, working out ways to minimize and eliminate them;

• ensuring the economic security of the Volyn region by preventing, detecting, terminating, and investigating criminal offenses affecting the functioning of the state's economy;

• collecting and analyzing information about offenses in the budget, tax, and customs spheres of the economy of the Volyn region which affect the economic security of the state and determining ways to prevent their occurrence in the future;

• planning measures in the field of combating criminal offenses assigned by law to the jurisdiction of the Territorial Office of the ESBU in the Volyn region;

• detection and investigation of offenses related to the receipt and use of international technical assistance in the territory of the Volyn region.
