Main tasks:

• analytical, organizational, informational, scientific and methodological, and other support of the Directors of the ESBU activities;
• ensuring the ESBU's interaction with the Office of the President of Ukraine, committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, central executive authorities, law enforcement agencies, local self-government bodies, enterprises, institutions, organizations and associations of citizens in the course of its activities;
• ensuring coordination of activities of structural units of the Central office and Territorial Departments of the ESBU;
• providing methodological, advisory and organizational assistance to the structural units of the Central office of the ESBU and Territorial Departments within its competence;
• preparation and processing of materials necessary for the performance of tasks and functions of the Director of the ESBU;
• organizational support of the work of the Director of the ESBU;
• ensuring within its competence, coordination, and monitoring of the activities of the structural units of the Central office and Territorial Departments of the ESBU to ensure the fulfillment of the tasks set to counteract offenses that infringe on the functioning of the state economy;
• organizing and coordinating the implementation of positive experiences of law enforcement agencies, and scientific and technical achievements in the fight against economic crime in the ESBU.

Main functions:

• develops draft regulations and administrative documents within its competence, as well as participates in the development of amendments and additions to regulations and administrative documents on issues within the scope of the ESBU's activities;
• organizing meetings of the ESBU board, meetings, seminars, gatherings, and other events held with the participation of or by order of the Director of the ESBU;
• making proposals for revision of draft documents submitted for consideration by the Director of the ESBU and processing draft resolutions of the Director of the ESBU as well as assisting in the revision by ensuring consultations, meetings, etc.;
• preparing a report on the ESBU's activities and materials to inform the public about the ESBU's performance with the participation of structural units;
• preparation of draft letters, inquiries, information, analytical and methodological materials, references, and administrative documents;
• Provide information support to the Director of the ESBU to prepare participation in meetings, conferences, sessions, and other official events;
• organizing and conducting seminars, meetings, etc. within the competence of the Director of the ESBU;
• preparation of certificates, conclusions, and proposals based on the results of performance audits to eliminate the identified shortcomings and consequences of violations and the preconditions for their commission;
• systematic analysis of the implementation of control orders to improve the level of performance discipline;
• consideration and participation in consideration of appeals, inquiries, and complaints of citizens, business entities, public authorities, and members of the Parliament of Ukraine;
• interacting within its competence with higher education institutions, research institutions, and public organizations in organizing and conducting scientific, educational, and sociological events.
