organization and implementation of office work in the ESBU;
organizational support of the ESBU activities;
organization of work on ensuring access to public information and consideration of citizens' appeals received by the ESBU;
monitoring and control over the implementation of the laws of Ukraine, decrees of the President of Ukraine, resolutions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted by the Constitution and laws of Ukraine, acts of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, and instructions of the Prime Minister of Ukraine, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, inquiries and appeals of MPs of Ukraine as well as orders and instructions of the management of the ESBU, acts of other central executive authorities.
Main functions:
ensuring interaction between the structural units of the Central office and Territorial Departments of the ESBU;
collecting, processing, and submitting to the Director of the ESBU draft work plans and relevant reports based on proposals of structural units of the Central office and Territorial Departments of the ESBU;
conducting inspections of the status of implementation of work plans of structural units of the Central office and Territorial Departments of the ESBU;
participate in the development of the structure and staffing of the ESBU;
organizing the work and exercising control over the development of regulations on structural units of the Central office of the ESBU;
ensuring preparation, organization and holding of staff meetings under the chairmanship of the Director of the ESBU;
receiving and registering incoming correspondence;
ensuring registration and sending of outgoing correspondence of the ESBU;
registering orders on the main activities, instructions, and orders of the management of the ESBU;
ensuring the organization of the ESBU archive;
preparation of information and analytical materials on the state of document flow in the structural units of the Central office and Territorial Departments of the ESBU;
organization of personal reception of citizens by the management of the ESBU;
taking measures within its competence to protect state secrets when working with classified documents;
organization of the work of the telephone hotline of the ESBU;
organizing a direct telephone line of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine;
systematically analyzing and summarizing citizens' appeals to identify the reasons for them, as well as the most pressing socially significant problems that require immediate resolution and informing the management of the ESBU by the established procedure;
ensuring preparation of reports on the work with citizens' appeals in the ESBU and their submission to the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Office of the President of Ukraine within the specified timeframe;
organizing a special place for information requesters to work with documents and/or their copies;
preparation of information, reference, and other materials on the implementation of legislative acts, orders, instructions, and orders of the management of the ESBU;
organizing the work and providing advisory and methodological assistance to the structural units of the central apparatus of the ESBU to ensure access to public information and consideration of citizens' appeals received by the ESBU;
informing the management of the ESBU on the status of implementation of legislative acts, orders, instructions, and assignments of the management of the ESBU in the structural units of the ESBU.
