Main tasks:
ensuring the ESBU's activities in the field of information security and information technology;
analytical assessment of the implementation of tasks in the field of information protection in the ESBU;
participation in the creation and functioning of interagency information and analytical systems necessary to perform the tasks assigned to the ESBU;
research information processing technology in the automated systems of the ESBU to identify possible leakage channels and other threats to information security form a threat model, develop an information security policy and determine measures aimed at its implementation;
maintaining the required level of security of information, resources and technologies in the ESBU;
implementation and technical support of systems and technologies in information and communication systems;
ensuring cyber defense in the information and communication systems of the ESBU.
Main functions:
development within the scope of competence of projects of regulatory and legal acts and administrative documents, participation in the development of changes and additions to normative legal acts and administrative documents on issues related to the sphere activities of the ESBU;
implementation of a unified information policy, cybersecurity policy and standardization of information and communication systems in the Central office and Territorial Departments of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine;
ensuring the informatization and digitalization of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine in the course of its activities in cooperation with state authorities, local self-government bodies, other authorities, enterprises, institutions and organizations, banks and other financial institutions by the legislation of Ukraine;
ensuring automated access of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine to automated information and reference systems, registers and data banks (databases) owned (administered) by state or local self-government bodies, state, including government, means of communication and information, special communication networks and other technical means by the procedure established by the legislation of Ukraine;
creation of own systems (networks) of exchange of information with limited access, databases necessary to ensure the daily activities of the units of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine in the field of labor, financial, managerial relations and document flow;
ensuring informatization and digitalization of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine in the course of its activities in cooperation with state authorities, local self-government bodies, other authorities, enterprises, institutions and organizations, banks and other financial institutions by the legislation of Ukraine;
ensuring automated access of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine to automated information and reference systems, registers and data banks (databases) owned (administered) by state or local self-government bodies, state, including government, means of communication and information, special communication networks and other technical means by the procedure established by the legislation of Ukraine;
creation of own systems (networks) of exchange of information with limited access, databases necessary to ensure the daily activities of the units of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine in the field of labor, financial, managerial relations and document management;
ensuring the informatization and digitalization of a set of measures taken by the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine to assess risks in the economic sphere;
ensuring the activities of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine in the field of information security and information technology.
