Tasks:

• organization of legal work aimed at the correct application, strict compliance, and prevention of non-compliance with the requirements of the legislation, other regulatory acts of the Territorial Office of the ESBU in Kyiv, and its employees during the performance of assigned tasks and functional duties.
• self-representation of the interests of the Territorial Office of the ESBU in Kyiv, its officials, and employees in courts without a separate mandate from the management of the TO of the ESBU in Kyiv.

Functions:

• verification of compliance with the legislation and international treaties of Ukraine of draft orders and other documents submitted for signature to the head of the Territorial Office of the ESBU in Kyiv, conducting a legal examination of draft orders, orders and providing conclusions based on the results of their review.
• verification of compliance with current legislation of draft letters and other documents that are submitted for signature to the head of the Territorial Office of the ESBU in Kyiv.
• promoting the correct application of acts of labor legislation, and in case of non-fulfillment or violation of their requirements, submitting a written opinion to the head of the Territorial Office of the ESBU in Kyiv with proposals for eliminating such violations.
• checking the status of legal work in the Territorial Office of the ESBU in Kyiv and submitting proposals for consideration by the head of the Territorial Office of the ESBU in Kyiv regarding its improvement, elimination of deficiencies in the legal provision of the activities of the Territorial Office of the ESBU in Kyiv, taking measures to introduce the latest forms and methods of the Department's activities, implementation of acts of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.
• provide legal advice to employees and heads of structural subdivisions of the Territorial Department of the ESBU in Kyiv regarding the correct application of legislation, as well as clarification of the application of legislation during the performance of tasks and functional duties assigned to them.
• organization of claim-lawsuit and court work, control over its conduct.
• together with interested structural subdivisions of TO of the ESBU in Kyiv, development of draft contracts for the purchase of goods, works, or services, taking into account the features defined by current legislation, providing a legal evaluation of drafts of such contracts.
• organization of work related to the conclusion of agreements (contracts), participation in their preparation and implementation of measures aimed at fulfilling contractual obligations, and ensuring the protection of property rights and legal interests of the TO of the ESBU in Kyiv.
• analysis of the materials received from law enforcement and control bodies, the results of lawsuit work, as well as statistical reporting data obtained as a result of inspections, audits, and inventories, characterizing the state of compliance with the law of the TO of the ESBU in Kyiv.
