On October 5, the Director of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine Vadym Melnyk held a working meeting with the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine, Ambassador Henrik Villadsen. The meeting was devoted to the use of international experience in ensuring the economic security of the state to improve the efficiency of the ESBU.

"Due to the priority role of the analytical component in the activities of the ESBU, our goal is to quickly integrate into the European Community, which will strengthen the common fight against transnational economic crimes", - Vadym Melnyk said.

The OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine implements projects related to a wide range of issues such as constitutional, legal and judicial reforms; human rights education and legal education; dialogue as a tool in overcoming the crisis and implementing reforms; psychological and social rehabilitation of people affected by the crisis; fighting cybercrime and human trafficking; demining and democratic control of the security sector; environmental protection; border security; freedom of the media; elections; proper management; gender equality.
