Detectives of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine exposed a group of persons in the Kharkiv region who organized the illegal sale of tobacco products of well-known foreign brands through the Internet and controlled Telegram channels.

Tobacco products were both without excise tax stamps and with excise tax stamps of an unknown model, including those with signs of counterfeiting.

During the search the detectives of the ESBU discovered and seized more than 200 electronic cigarettes and about 1,500 tobacco products.

The pre-trial investigation is ongoing. The full range of persons involved in illegal activities is established.

Procedural management is carried out by prosecutors of the General Prosecutor's Office.
