Detectives of the Territorial Administration of the ESBU in the Kyiv and the Kyiv region exposed and stopped the activity of an illegal gambling establishment in the center of Kyiv.

A group of people organized an illegal business in one of the capital's restaurants.

As a result of urgent searches in the premises where the illegal casino was located, detectives of the ESBU seized 4 tables for playing roulette, 10 tables for playing poker, computer equipment, more than 10 sets of chips, playing cards and other goods and material values that were used in illegal activities. Draft records and data carriers, which are evidence of the commission of a criminal offense, were also seized.

Pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings, based on the signs of a criminal offense provided for in Art. 203-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal activity of organizing or conducting gambling games, lotteries), carried out by detectives of the Territorial Department of the ESBU in the Kyiv and the Kyiv region under the procedural guidance of prosecutors of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office and operational support.

We will remind you that recently the detectives of the ESBU stopped the activity of four illegal gambling establishments in the Kyiv region.
