Analysts of the Territorial Department of the Economic Security Bureau in Poltava region discovered a risky tender for the repair of the Poltava children's and youth sports school. The Department of Capital Construction of the Poltava City Executive Committee planned to spend more than UAH 18 million on it.

During the information and analytical work and the analysis of tenders in the region the employees of the Economic Security Bureau established that the company winning the procurement does not have the experience of performing similar works and the necessary material and technical base.

In order to prevent waste of budget funds a letter was sent with a recommendation to the customer to reject the tender offer.

Thanks to the joint work of the TD of the ESBU in Poltava region the North-East office of the State Audit service in Poltava region and the working group "Transparency and Accountability" under the Poltava regional military administration the service contract was canceled.
