Detectives of the Territorial Department of the ESBU in Kyiv exposed an underground casino. During the search employees of the illegal gambling establishment escaped from law enforcement by breaking through a plasterboard partition to a neighbouring cafe.

Detectives seized system units, monitors, a safe, network switches, reporting cards, funds, etc.

Now the criminals face punishment not only for participation in the organisation of illegal gambling business but also for illegal entry into private territory.

All persons involved in the illegal activity of the establishment are currently being identified.

The pre-trial investigation under Part 1 Art. 203-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal activity in organising or conducting gambling) is ongoing.

The case is being supervised by prosecutors of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office.
