Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine will engage researchers and academic staff of Mariupol State University in lawmaking initiatives. Talking about changes to the normative legal acts related to the institutional formation of the Bureau and regarding the introduction of changes to the criminal and criminal procedural legislation of Ukraine.
Acting Director of the Bureau Eduard Fedorov and Rector of the University Mykola Trofymenko signed a Memorandum of cooperation. The parties also discussed cooperation on educational issues and the involvement of employees of the higher education institution in the development of the Development strategy of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine for 2023-2028, in particular in terms of defining the mission, vision and goals of the Bureau.
Agreed to train and upgrade the skills of analysts and detectives at the university on the topic of combating corruption, the basics of strategy and systematic analysis of information.
ESBU is also establishing cooperation with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization's Delegation on the institutional development of the Bureau. In particular, the Representation's experts will also contribute to the development of the Development strategy of the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine for 2023-2028.

For reference: Mariupol State University is a classical higher education institution of the IV accreditation level. The university has 6 faculties, 25 departments and the Educational and Research institute of management.
