Analysts of the Territorial Department of the Economic Security Bureau in Lviv region have identified a tender for the reconstruction of a sports facility. The tender was announced by officials of one of the structural units of the Lviv regional military administration.

It was planned to reconstruct a biathlon shooting range and a ski roller track in Novoiavorivsk for more than UAH 86 million from the local budget.

Analysts of the Territorial Department sent a letter to the regional military administration recommending that it reconsider the feasibility of the tender. They drew the contracting authority's attention to the inadmissibility of inefficient use of funds from the local budget, especially under martial law.

As a result the contracting authority cancelled the open tender.

As a reminder recently analysts of the Territorial Department of the ESBU in Lviv region exposed officials of a state institution for violating the procedure during a procurement for public funds. These individuals intended to spend about UAH 7 million on the purchase of technological devices from a limited liability company.
