The Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine has signed a Memorandum of strategic partnership and cooperation with Clearview AI, Inc. The company provides facial recognition software to law enforcement agencies.

The main purpose of the Memorandum is to cooperate in the fight against international crime, exchange of information, legal and administrative assistance in the institutional development of the ESBU etc.

The parties will pay special attention to protecting economic interests, ensuring measures to combat economic crimes in particular in the tax and customs areas, combating financial fraud, economic cybercrime and money laundering.

The meeting was prepared and the Memorandum was developed by the International Cooperation Departmentof the ESBU.
