In the course of the information and analytical activities it was established that the officials of the medical institution planned to purchase equipment worth UAH 3.7 million. While its market price is on average UAH 1.2 million lower.
Based on the identified prerequisites for harming the economic security of the state and to prevent embezzlement of budget funds the analysts sent a letter of recommendation to the utility company on the advisability of concluding the relevant agreement.
As a result, the terms and procedure of the procurement were revised and an additional agreement was signed to reduce the cost of the equipment to UAH 2.5 million.
