• identification of risk zones in the economic sphere by analyzing structured and unstructured data, taking into account the specifics of the Territorial Office of the Lviv region and tax accounting of business entities of the DPS State administration in the Lviv region and the Western interregional administration of the DPS for work on the WFP;

• assessment of risks and threats to the economic security of the state, development of ways to minimize and eliminate them, taking into account the main developed branches of the economy of the Lviv region: industry, agriculture, transport, foreign trade with a focus on the operational situation in the region (combating the supply channels of contraband products, carrying out work on combating the illegal circulation of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products of another excise group of goods, combating tax evasion by business entities of the main branches of the region's economy);

• ensuring the economic security of the state by preventing, detecting, terminating, and investigating criminal offenses affecting the functioning of the state's economy;

• collection and analysis of information on offenses affecting the economic security of the state and determination of ways to prevent their occurrence in the future;

• planning measures in the field of combating criminal offenses assigned by law to its jurisdiction;

• detection and investigation of offenses related to the receipt and use of international technical assistance;

• drawing up analytical conclusions and recommendations for state bodies to increase the efficiency of their management decisions regarding the regulation of relations in the economic sphere.
